Dr. Joe Roberts was raised in Salem, Oregon. He received his Bachelors of Science from George Fox University prior to going to Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating from veterinary school Joe began practicing at a mixed animal practice in Roseburg, Oregon, where he spent four and a half years honing his medicine and surgical skills. He then moved to the drier side of the state and work another busy mixed animal practice. While in central Oregon, Joe focused on equine medicine and surgery while continuing to see small animal patients. In February of 2010, Joe and his wife Lindsay decided it was time to open their own practice.
Joe and his wife have one child, Addison. When not working Joe enjoys being an active husband and father. In his spare time he likes bird watching, upland game bird hunting, road biking and camping. When not taking care of animals at his office he is likely to be working on one of his own which consists of 3 dogs, 2 cats, and 3 horses.
Dr. Joe maintains professional memberships in the American Association of Equine Professionals and the Oregon Veterinary Medical Association.
